- Morongo Casino was a resort with nice structure and vast area. It had all the amenities that truly qualify it to be four star resort. The room was pretty good and clean. The window gave a nice view of canyon. But in some services especially when I called front desk it was a long wait and they put on hold for long time. They did apologize but I didn’t find that long wait very good at all.
Casino and rooms are not very far; so walk was easy. Morongo was not at the centre of Los Angeles. There was a long drive involved. However the drive is scenic which makes it
a pleasant experience. The location was little remote. But once you are inside the resort, then pretty much everything is inside. The drinks are there starting from one dollar. Food was also fairly priced at the in-house restaurants. The people working in the restaurants were very courteous in all their behavior. The casino was very crowded. There were many tourists at the tables. The action at poker tables was excellent and exciting. There were both limit and no limit Texas hold ‘em going. Blackjack tables were mostly six deck machine shuffled. The dealers were interesting people who never get you bored. They talked enough and kept the fun high. Waitresses were pretty as usual in all California casinos. The major attraction is their poker room which is good to be at. It was a nice room well kept. Morongo casino is at par with Vegas experience in any factors. In some services they even better Vegas feel. For example the internet was free and it was good connection. Morongo is perfect to plan your quick weekend getaways. Even though playing conditions are not the best at Morongo, it is fun place to beat. I don’t think many casino resorts at California have three polls like they have it at Morongo. One pool was children friendly with very shallow water levels. So families will also have a good time at Morongo. All the services at Morongo were top notch. May be you will not see the glitter and crowd of Vegas at Morongo casino. But it is worth visiting for a new experience of staying, playing and dining.
